Development

Our communities have choice. They decide where to spend their time, where to meet with friends, where to come together as a family, where to purchase the things they need. When someone in our local community leaves their driveway and can choose whether to turn left or right, we want to make sure that we’re the destination at the end of that journey; again and again.

This is why we have a $2.1 billion development pipeline (Vicinity share: $0.9b) with many projects already underway.

Development Projects

Galleria, WA

  • $500 million total project cost
  • Amended DA approved in March 2018
  • The development will introduce the latest department store and supermarket concepts, a new entertainment and leisure zone, a fresh food market hall and cutting edge dining court as well as a new vibrant town centre
  • Will reinforce Galleria as one of Perth’s leading retail destinations
  • Expected to commence in FY19

Mandurah Forum, WA

  • $320 million total project cost
  • Stage 1 of retail, including an upgraded Coles and Kmart, new Target and 60 specialty stores, opened in July 2017
  • Stage 2 includes David Jones, food court with adjoining play area, fresh food market & alfresco dining precinct which opened in March 2018
  • New multi-deck car park
  • International retail H&M opened prior to project completion in mid-2018

  • On track for completion in third quarter 2018

  • 13-level, 250-room hotel under development
  • Will include two restaurants, pool, gym, lounge bar, day spa facilities, conferencing and meeting room facilities, and a ballroom for up to 400 people
  • Will cater for tourists to Melbourne and visitors and business travellers to Chadstone and the Monash region
